A Beautiful Sublime Sunday At Fort Harrison State Park
We finally got a chance to get back out into nature and take a marvelous walk. One of the first things we ran across in the park are the beautiful flowers in the thumbnail above.
These beauties were not too far away. After a long Winter and Spring, it was nice to see so many colors while on our walk!
Speaking of beautiful colors, we were very lucky to catch a close up look of this butterfly. I love the vibrant blue in his wings.
You may recognize this shot from my last #treetuesday post. I just love that the play area sits right next to the beautiful willow tree.
The views at the lake always make me happy. It is a very peaceful place to sit and soak in the surroundings for awhile.
I loved that the trails are over grown with nature!
We followed along the path until we reached the river. Listening to the water flow by was so renewing to the soul!
The humidity finally got hot enough to chase us out of the park and back to our air conditioned home. I did manage to get this last beautiful shot before we headed out though.

Beautiful park! Love the play area set up! But then, I am partial to big old willow trees! Gorgeous butterfly too. The blue is stunning. Too bad that it got so humid that you had to go home!

A beautiful place to enjoy a Sunday outing, Deb. Willow tree is awesome. Love the 🦋. There is a swallowtail flying around the lawn but too fast for me to photograph.

Does look like a very sublime Sunday. I love wandering about in the areas by lakes and rivers. The green water is really peaceful, and looks inviting, though you might have to share the logs with the turtles. Nice capture of the butterfly too. Beautiful, and VERY cooperative. Mine are usually a blur of color as it wanders-winging off.
I really appreciated that butterfly staying put for that shot. I always find a walk in nature to be peaceful and renewing. :D
