The Waterfalls Near Iligan City Part 10

This is part 10 of my post about Iligan City's waterfalls. Please check out links to Parts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 in the first paragraph of my previous post here if you haven't checked them out already.

My former high school classmate who wished to remain anonymous has emailed me numerous pics of his hiking adventures around some of these spectacular waterfalls which he visited. There were a bunch of these photos in his hard drive available so I decided to make them into a series of posts with his kind permission.

Hajing Falls

During summertime here in the Philippines and as expected from many of the waterfalls that can be found around here in Iligan. Scenes like this occur.

Just a few droplets of water flowing from the rock wall. On some instances, a rock wall can only be found because of the hot weather. This is the upper tier of Hajing Falls. A rock wall can be found. The falls turn into a wall. Sad, but it's true.

A sugar palm fruit and also known as Arenga pinnata by the scientific community. Found nearby at Hajing Falls.

Happy to know that the biodiversity of plants around here is still flourishing.

Not much to tell about the waterfall. My former classmate felt less excited upon seeing just a wall. Sad, but nonetheless, the thriving biodiversity of plants are still around and most likely to survive the hot summer months. Hopefully the falls will be flowing during the rainy season.
