Setting the price for iPhone X

iPhone X is the most expensive smartphone in the history of Apple and although they said that they made the price of the gadget as low as possible, and the gadget fully justifies its value, according to TechInsights experts this is not so.

TechInsights are engaged in analyzing technological devices and their parts inside and the price they put the iPhone X at $ 357.50. The price, on which the gadget is sold, is 999 dollars. Thus, by the method of easy calculations, it can be understood that the smartphone gives a gross profit on sales of 64%.

TechInsights did not forget about the iPhone 8, which is sold for $ 699, the cost of which in this only 41%.

It should be noted that the IPhone X is a completely new design, while the iPhone 8 is an update of last year's iPhone 7, which in itself was similar to the iPhone 6, released in 2014. But this does not mean that the IPhone X justifies its price.

When comparing the iPhone X and IPhone 8, experts agreed on the opinion that the reason for such a high price is design. A 5.8-inch (14.8 cm) display from edge to edge IPhone X and its associated parts cost $ 65.50, compared to $ 36 for the 4.7-inch display of the iPhone 8. In addition, the iPhone 8 uses older LCD technology, when X inside itself has Super AMOLED technology, which transmits brighter colors and has a subtle overall design.

Apple does not comment on these statements.
