Welcome my dear Steemian friends to a new episode of Curiosity! A series in which we will answer some of the questions that makes us all curious.   

Just imagine, all the people just suddenly disappeared form Earth, yup its an unusual topic but very fascinating. Well what would happen to our planet after we are gone? There are some fascinating theories of changes that would take place on Earth. Let's get right into it.

After Several Hours after Disappearance 

All the lights around the world would start to shut down. Most of the power stations work on the fossil fuels and without humans, no one will be there to operate them so in just the matter of hours they will stop. Similarly, the windmills would stop working in days due to lack of lubricants. Nuclear power plants would also stop working because its need a constant maintenance by humans. There will be massive dust deposits on the solar panels , no body would be there to clean them so eventually, the solar panels would also stop working.

But Hydro-powers can be left untouched for several months,so it would still supply electricity for weeks or months.

After a Week 

After a week we have disappeared , the pets locked at home would start dying due to starvation and dehydration. Those pets who are not locked inside the home , may survive even longer. The bigger pets would start hunting smaller pets which may lead to extinction of smaller breeds. 

After a Month

Now, even hydro powers would have stopped working, there would be total black out.

The nuclear power plants would go haywire due to evaporation of the water, which may lead to the series of explosion even greater than the Hiroshima and Nagasaki nuclear attack. The survived animals will get high dose of radiation and die of cancer. but Earth would recover in several years, and there would be no more radiation.

After One Year

After one year of disappearance , the satellites would start falling out and the space debris would enter the earths atmosphere.  There are literally 1000s of satellites orbiting Earth and they would start falling one after another, without any human management.

After 10 Years

All the roads , highways, streets, buildings , homes would be covered by vegetation. There would animals all over the so called city. Also the air would be much more cleaner. there would be no more air pollution. Cities like Dubai will be completely buried in sand.

After 200 Years

The bigger constructions like Eiffel tower would start to break. The bridges would start to break. Since there is nobody to protect them from corrosion the last tall buildings in the world would also fall part. The dams would break apart and create a massive natural disaster for animals still left.

Also the marine animals would flourish and survive longer in the absence of humans, wild life and birds would also survive much longer and would have a proper natural habitat so live. In the absence of the humans, the whales would reproduce to it highest.

After several Thousand Years

There would be no modern cities left, non building no houses no highways , it would all vegetation and massive trees everywhere. But Massive constructions would still remain like Pyramid of Giza, Mount Rushmore, great wall of China.

In Several Million Years

All the plastic garbage produced by human would have decayed completely and there would be no trace of human civilization left 

Conclusion

Our Planet would completely reset itself even if there are no humans left and be ready for starting a newer civilization from evolution. Our planet can do very well without us, in-fact, it would be great place for all the wild and marine life. Our planet can do well without us but we can't. So save the planet , save yourself.
