It was a lovely Wednesday breakfast ride for me, what were you'll up to?
Since I leave Delhi tonight, Sunny and I decided we will go on a short breakfast ride and the best place to go too, was the Hanuman statue for pictures, followed by breakfast at Throttle Shorttle.
The last time I visited this place was almost three years ago when they had just started. I have been following their page and have seen this place change over the years and you never get bored coming here. Everything has evolved and has become better...Now they even have a pool!! if I still visit this place after 3 years is because of the love and warmth I receive...They treat you and even your pets like family. What else can you ask for...Good food, music and a place to be yourself!
Throttle Shrottle is a biker workshop turned cafe where bike enthusiasts gather to discuss their experiences and to socialise. It's a Nice chilled out place with great lemonade and cold coffee. There is nothing as liberating as riding a motorcycle, some people just ride a motorcycle and some passionate people give their all to the love of motorcycling… The idea of Throttle Shrottle Cafe in Gurgaon was fueled by the strong desire of a motorcyclist Saurav to create a lifestyle out of his love for motorcycling. and he has definitely turned it into reality. I liked the way they have adopted some dogs, ducks, birds and rabbits. The dogs are well trained and only approach if you call them or if they take a fancy to you.
The best thing about this cafe is, it's open 365 days a year, all day, all night. So whether it's those midnight cravings or if you wanna meet some like-minded bikers, you can zoom your way there. Sunday mornings are the busiest time for Throttle Shrottle, when they cater to 200+ bikers.
As soon as you enter the place, you are blown away by the attention given to every detail. The cafe is entirely made of junk and recycled material, tyres, tin sheets, bottles and it has this very wooden rustic feel to it. Vehicle exhausts and tyres are also used as props to decorate the interiors, posters of Pink Floyd, Che Guevara and of course motorcycles add to the character of the whole café.
The best thing about the café is that you don’t have to be a rider to enjoy being there, it is a great place to spend time with your family and kids too. They have a good variety of food and appetizers which are priced reasonably. They have an in-house chef who is trained to cook for dogs as well. So based on your pet’s preference {vegetarian or non-vegetarian}, the chef will whip up a soup or a meal in a bowl.
