I was on the bus and saw this post from @papa-pepper earlier:

In the post, there's mentioned of WEKU which is something similar. From what I saw, @papa-pepper found a lot of usernames on steemit was registered possibly by scammer. Seems the coins in those accounts were transferred to:

Yeah right! Don't have much board information about this site and how it really works. One thing I found out its very similar to steemit.. and I hope to understand well in there.
So similar to an older version like when you click a post, it pops up on the page.
I dedided to quickly register there after reading papa-pepper's post. I'm not famous enough on Steemit yet to have my name stolen, so that account is now completely mine :-)
It's so weird to see this Steemit clone and I'm not quite sure how to feel about it yet. It could be a good opportunity to establish a bigger reader base but it also feels a little like betraying Steemit! I think at the most I might just copy/paste my Steemit posts there, though I don't know yet how long I'll bother with that.
I saw one post which was a direct copy/paste off of Steemit, writing how to make a good introduction post... on Steemit! This person didn't even take the time to switch the names when posting on Weku!
Exactly to stop people from taking over an account just to post your stuff there. :-) I maybe should test post to see what happens.

No idea but seems not much different from steemit.
