Massive Feelings 🎧 [Blockchain Music Contest Round 8]
For this round of the Blockchain Music Contest with the theme "Awakening" I choose a track I'm working on since a long time and it's still not finished - but the deadline ..you know ;).
This track is inspired by the bassline of the song "Stratus" by Billy Cobham or later sampled by Massive Attack for their song "Safe from Harm".
I choose "Massive Feelings" for this theme as I heard the song "Stratus" all day in and out at a time when I was a young teenager and all kind of new feelings awakened in my mind and body.
Stratus is also responsible for the fact that I really wanted to learn bass guitar and did so.
But there is also another reason why my song is called "Massive Feelings".
I actually wanted to call it "Massive Feelings for Bill" to point to the source of inspiration - Billy Cobham and Massive Attack. But then the name was too long for me and I shortened it.
I worked with FL Studio as usual ;).
On this track, I used the GMS (Groove Machine Synthesizer Module) Plugin to create the bass-sound and the synths.
Hexeract for more synthy sounds.
For the drums, I used the instruments from the FL Studio pack.
This airy synth comes from Autogun
And on top of that, I put some percussion- and vocal samples.
