Very good post.
I know predicting the future is tough business but I find it interesting that Gartner has VR on the slope while AR is at the trough. The placement of these two isnt what got my attention so much as the relationship to blockchain.
Keep this in mind. FB bought Oculus in 2013, Bitcoin i.e. the blockchain was out 4 years before that. To me, the blockchain is further along than VR.
Yeap, blockchain is one of the six technologies world economic forum has indicated as the one that will have the biggest impact on our societies in the next 10 years
