A Censorship Free Twitter Like dAPP Running on the BitcoinCash Blockchain.
The other day @adambalm pointed out a censorship free Twitter dAPP running on the BitcoinCash blockchain. I finally got a chance to play around with it a little bit and it really is cool.
The sign up is really simple. You can either import an address or have one created for you. You deposit a small amount of BCH in your MEMO BitcoinCash wallet, and every action costs a small amount of BCH.
Each post is posted to the BitcoinCash blockchain. The interface is in ALPHA and is really basic. Currently you can, post, like, and follow. Each like sends the content you liked a small amount of BCH, the minimum is 546 BCH satoshi.
I played around with this for a little while today, and I have to say the potential is there. I really hope development of the project continues. I'd love to see some added features, and a more glamorous UI, but for now the "proof of concept" is up and running, and I have to say I thought it was pretty cool.
I think it's great that all these decentralized dAPPs are starting to pop up, with all the talk of "fake news" and "censorship". The blockchain changes everything, and freedom of speech will never truly die with this technology!

Dammit, I was about to walk away from the computer and eat but then I'm like "lemmie check my feed real quick first"... just gave myself more work when I come back because I will have to check this Memo Cash out. I came to check this post because I thought this was going to be about Yours (which... now that I think about it, how are you not on that yet?)
There's so many of these sites, and dAPPs popping up now. It's tough to keep up. Hopefully we're looking at the future of social networking with Steemit, Yours, Minds, MEMO. We also have the Steemit dAPPS like DTube & Zappl. I'll probably get over to Yours next. LOL, now I've got more work to do :)
