Malaysian Central Bank authority clearly mentioned that the fate of cryptocurrencies in the country depends on the public adopting them. They will neither ban nor recognize cryptocurrency. It is a wise decision. But Bank of America does not think so. BOA has mentioned that Cryptocurrency as material risk to its business
Main selling point of Cryptocurrency haters is that
- Cryptocurrency is for Money laundering
- Crypto is for illegal activities
- Crypto is for gambling
- Crypto is for buying drugs
The technology could hamper the second-largest U.S. bank's ability to comply with anti-money-laundering regulations, pose a competitive threat and force the company to spend more money to keep up with the times, the bank said in its annual filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Source
Their arguments are very true. You can not track the movement of funds of cryptocurrencies. But they did not mention the benefits of using Cryptocurrency or blockchain technology. As blockchain is used for the transaction, Everything is transparent, extremely fast transaction, highly secure and hundreds of benefits we can list.
Blockchain enthusiasts are growing day by day. One main problem with Cryptocurrency is that it is highly volatile. As it is highly volatile you can not use it for currency right now. Who will buy pizza with 10,000 bitcoin. I don't want to suffer whole life. :)
