Swiss company Sirin Labs is planning to come up with their Blockchain smartphone named Finney.
The concept was crowdfunded last year and have reached their goal with plans to launch the phone this year.

Being a Blockchain phone, some of the key features that make it stand out from usual smartphones in the market are:

  • Enhanced security with Three-Factor authentication: Biometric, Lock Pattern, Behavioral
  • Secure Communication for VoIP, text and Emails
  • Secure and Embedded Cold Storage with tamper-resistant hardware

The phone would be Anrdoid based with the Sirin OS on top of it.

As it is a Blockchain phone, so it offers purchasing it with SRN Tokens, the cryptocurrency from Sirin Labs. Purchasing this phone with SRN will give additional discount of around 10%.

More details on pricing and specifications can be found on their official website Sirin Labs

What are your thoughts on this smartphone and how many of you would be interested in buying? Do you think this would be helpful to the people with crypto-currencies? Let me know in the comments below.

@rjoshicool has set 0.050 STEEM bounty on this post! logo_for-light-bg_1000.png # What is a bounty exactly A bounty is money sent to a post to be distributed to the users commenting on it. It provides a way to reward users directly on top of the steem/sbd they get from the blockchain independently of SP. You create a bounty by sending any amount of sbd/steem to @steem-bounty together with a post-url in the memo. Users are then competing for the bounty by writing their answers to the post in comments hoping for upvotes from the community and especially the bounty creator. The money of the bounty gets distributed to all top level comments of the post at the same time when the post is paid out (7 Days after it was written). How much everyone gets depends on the votes the comments received. The sender of the bounties votes are weighted higher so that she decideds where 80% of the money goes and all other votes determine the rest. @steem-bounty does all of this for you automatically. You can use this service to automatically pay out a challenge, ask a hard question or simply to reward the people that interact with you. Read more about how it works, even in different languages here.

None has won the bounty reward!

This Blockchain phone looking beautiful. Stylish phone. Nice technology post. good....

One thing that confuses me with mobile wallet apps, is where is the blockchain? On the phone or some centralized site?

As per my understanding, it is within the app but somewhere publicly accessible.
