Steemit, besides being a social network with very attractive and interesting content. It aims to change the economic sustainability in all of society. If you keep up with whats happening in YouTube land, you would know that in the recent months many YouTubers have seen their ad revenue drop on the average of around 50-60% in some cases as high as 80% depending on their content. YouTube management has been terrible at informing content creators about the changes. even those with millions of subscribers are unable to survive off the advertising income alone anymore. Channels that aren’t “family friendly” are being forced off YouTube for those who are. In addition, YouTube seems to only care about promoting their pay to watch and are bringing big name celebs into a space that was for the common person. anyone who would like to monetize his or her channel must have four thousand hours of viewing and at least one thousand subscribers in the past year. This automatically rules out small-time video producers from monetizing their videos. individuals wanting to monetize their small hobby channels or those who make how-to videos will not be able to do so anymore. Some of the most useful how-to videos that I have ever watched were on YouTube and had millions of views, increasing by the day. But it has become very easy for governments all over the world to ask YouTube to censor or shut down accounts that publish (Fake News) uncensored news. People have a right to see and hear the truth. But governments and YouTube do not think so. YouTube screwed their advertisers, and their users at the same time.

Steemit and DTube contain content that can never be erased Once it is put on the blockchain it has the creator's imprint on it and can never be taken away by anyone. Content gets up-voted and becomes popular on the basis of up-votes. More followers convert to a larger number of up-votes. It is easy to understand how to make content popular on Steemit.

I think the biggest incentive for publishing video content on DTube and Steemit is the monetization. Not only is it clear to figure out how monetization works but the rewards are much more compared to the mere cents that YouTube gives. There are a lot of content creators on YouTube with hundreds of videos making a hundred dollars or a little more. The best part is that the money does not come from any one individual or company but from a reward pool.

And if you have videos on YouTube you know the hassle of facing trolls. Steemit has a down-voting system which discourages trolls, never mind the endless comments of readers asking to follow them which is minor compared to abusive trolls

There is a little downside for YouTubers. It is not as easy as YouTube to get views on DTube or STeemit. There is a lot of effort needed and it is necessary to build a following. Good video content is the key to success on DTube. I have named a few up top.

A person with a big following on YouTube may presume that he or she will automatically start making a lot of money on Steemit. Not necessarily so, there is a different audience on Steemit and all followers of a channel may not sign up on Steemit immediately. So be sure to remind them what they are missing on steemit. Maybe even do a video, "only seen on DTube"

One thing I can say I highly value is the community’s warmth and support in seeing others succeed. There’s just as much content variety here as there is on most other social media platforms, Not only is one no longer censored, but the ability to monetize not just as an author but also as a curator.

I find myself spending more time on Steemit these days and figuring how to provide more value here than on any other social. It instantly changed my online habits and that is huge. First place I log in, Steemit.

In conclusion investing in Bitcoin you need money if your investing in Steem all you need is creativity, or you can buy on the market.
