There have been a lot of talks over the years of how Africa is the Dark continent. A place where nothing Innovative exists and a Continent where it's people are always in a Perpetual state of confusion

I am an avid follower of People who have an Understanding of the times we are in and from all indications we are stepping into an age where Africa will be at the forefront of the next age

For a long time, I did not see how that will be possible, everyone around me are solely comfortable with the Status quo. People favorite past time is sitting down and praying for God to come and change the Situation of things

I could write a full post on the Responsibilities of God as prescribed by Africans but let me just move on

National Transformation is possible but the truth is that the older generation that is ruling us does not have that in their agenda . Their top priority is securing the future of their unborn generation.

So what will You do about this ?

I am not writing this post to only talk about the atrocities of our Leaders and how they are killing us. I believe that we are already well past that. Since that fact has been established, It is left to you to find ways to Improve the situation of things

A quick visit to Social Media ( Especially Twitter) will open your eyes to different Opinions of Africans about the state of things in their countries. I have come across a lot of thoughtful posts. The truth however is that :

The World is not changed By Your Opinions , But by Your Example

We need working examples of things that are fueled by new Technologies , the Internet revolution has not fully permeated Africa and the Blockchain is already here

I have had chats with Africans and their plans about the Future and most times I am utterly disappointed about how the conservation turns. Most time they delve into a series of complaints and excuses, blaming everyone except themselves

We are currently in one of the best times to be alive in an most people still can't see that. Our parents never had the kind of opportunities that we had now.

We could not participate effectively in the Internet Revolution due to the fact that there was no way we could do so. It is not everyone that could afford to attend a school that had a functional Computer Labs like Bill Gates

When it comes to the Story of Bill Gates, most people only know that he dropped out of Havard and founded Microsoft, but the Story is much more deeper than that . He was afforded a lot of Opportunites early that made him build a Billion Dollar Technology Company

It goes beyond skill , there are a lot of factors like Hardwork and Dedication that determines who comes out at the top . Many Footballers are skillful but there is only one Christiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi depending on which Camp you are

The Blockchain revolution is here however and unlike the Internet revolution we have a lot of access to out and it is very easy to find out how it works.

You have no excuse whatsoever, as far as you have a Smartphone and an Internet connection you can build whatever you want for yourself. We are in a permission-less economy , you don't need the approval of anyone to build whatever you want

It is no longer mandatory for you to earn a three or four year degree for you to be recognised as someone who has someone to offer. if you are good enough, You will Win

The world we are in now is one where you can validate yourself and this Involves a high level of personal education. The resources are out there, you just need self discipline

So Instead of you parading around Telegram groups looking for the next best coin to buy, make out time daily to build an expertise around one thing . There are a lot of ways you can make money via the Internet or the Blockchain

The Central Bank of Nigeria just released a Statement some months stating their Non-recognition of CryptoCurrencies . While a lot of people are seeing it as a Setback, I see it as a huge Opportunity . Let me use an analogy to describe this

It took Facebook more than five years to fully penetrate the Nigerian Market. Imagine if you are African who heard about the Facebook when it was launched and had an Understanding of what it will become ,and Investing time to learn all you can about it , when it finally becomes popular you will make tons of money building a product or service around it

This might seem far fetched to you, but that kind of Opportunity is here again. The Blockchain is in its early stages and what are you doing now to come aboard it fully

Are you going to be among the Blockchain giants in some years time, or are you going to be among the people who spend all day lamenting about all its disadvantages , like those who complain about the evils of Social media ( On Social Media)

One of the Africans I respect so much is @samstickkz , he is someone I will advice you to follow closely as he is someone who has Intense passion for the Blockchain and follows its development closely

My joy is that we have a say in this matter on how the state of our lives will be. Don't waste time online doing things that won't build something truly tangible for you.

Build knowledge and connections that you will be proud of because no one is stopping you. You are the sole Miner of your Life Block. Don't spend time mining empty Blocks
