UNITED KINGDOM WILL BE A LEADING COUNTRY IN BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGY
In previous articles we were reporting on different fundamental news related to the regulations that different countries are implementing in their legislations. Very positive news that came to us from Hong Kong, Japan, the Philippines, Spain and South Korea.
On this occasion we bring a fundamental news from the United Kingdom. In fact it is a set of positive news that clearly indicate that in the near future the United Kingdom will be one of the leading countries in Blockchain technology.
In this article I will highlight two of the five positive fundamentals from the United Kingdom:
1.- An information on July 16 that comes from the newspaper 'The Guardian', one of the newspapers with the most readers in the United Kingdom, reports that this country has the potential to become a leader in blockchain technology and economy of cryptocurrencies.
This news is supported by a report from three major companies, the Big Innovation Center, DAG Global and Deep Knowledge Analytics that indicate that in the years 2017 and 2018 significant investments have been made in companies that are dedicated to developing blockchain technology in the United Kingdom. The report also indicates that blockchain technology is a new sector that is in its early stages of development and therefore has great potential for growth in the coming years.

2.- The second fundamental news refers to the study recently published by the trading platform eToro and Imperial College London. This study concluded that in the next ten years, cryptocurrencies could become one of the main means of payment.
This is due to the fact that currently this innovative technology is already complying with one of the three fundamental principles of fiat money, which is to act as a store of value and over time will comply with the other two requirements: act as a means of exchange and serve as an accounting unit.
