Having looked at the benefits the Wemark protocol is bringing to the photography industry, I want to look at it's business analysis starting with strength down the threats.
STRENGTH
The Wemark platform is trying to make the average photographer or the professional photographer be in total control of their works licensing it to anyone they want at any point in time. It is trying to make them more profitable.
WEAKNESS
While making my research on this project, I noticed something about its payment procedure. The content owner gets paid 85% while the Wemark protocol marketplace takes 15% of the photographer's earnings. This to me doesn't sound much like a decentralized situation. If I understand it well, this simply means a creator is paying to use the platform or it is still centralized whichever way. The aim of decentralization is to give the creators total control of everything over their contents including 100% pay-out of their content licensing and worth.
Secondly, payments are made using the platform currency. This will limit participation from across the border where cryptocurrency isn't legal yet.
OPPORTUNITY
The photography industry is a big one that has many players in it. Some persons have given up because they could not be profitable no matter how high quality their content is. The Wemark project is at the right time to help the masses and photographers correct this notion and show them that they can make a whooping sum and stay profitable with their contents and also license it to anyone they dim fit for it.
THREATS
As seen today every industry has their big players, these big players have been in this business for a long time and mainly they control every affair of the business. In the case of the photography industry, these big players are there, and they have become successful by feeding on the hard works of photographers. Wemark is liberating this situation and these big players won't just sit back and watch they will fight against the project as they will be put out of business.
Again, there will definitely be competitors now or in the future. They will try to modify the platforms weakness and turn it into their own strength all in the quest of becoming better than the Wemark platform. All this are threats that will be seen during the progress of the project.

Yea. It is a good project and as such requires every effort put in. Take your time to read my other entries about the project. :)
I want to point out that even with the project paying photographers 85% nof their income, it is still better than what is presently seen today in the content license and ownership rights. Decentralization is and will always be better than any centralized entity despite the prices of decentralization. Decentralization ensures you have full control over your contents and says what happens and what does not happen to it.
