Of course you can find good projects on big exchanges like Bittrex or Binance but when it comes to the real gems you usually find it on smaller exchanges like Cryptopia or Coinexchange.
Talking about it: found a real low marketcap gem a couple of weeks ago.

LUXCORE

The project is quite interesting featuring a new GPU algorithm built from a mix of Skein, JH, Cubehash, Fugue, Streebog and Echo. They claim to be the most GPU efficient blockchain currently working and supply is ultra low with only 60,000,000 LUX available.

The plans and the tech coming are not small: *Segwit, Smart Contracts, Parallel Masternodes, Luxgate, Trading Wallet and Luxsend (which will add an additional layer of privacy when sending coins)

LUXCORE mixes POW and static POS. Instead of dynamic POS where the ones that hold less coins have to wait days (and sometimes even weeks) to hit a reward. With LUX it happens in a slightly different ways, holders on the coin will always hit a reward of 1 LUX, the only difference being that the ones who holds more coins will hit rewards more often.

Luxgate and Parallel Masternodes

Parallel masternodes will make it easier and more reliable to make private transactions, securing the needs of enterprises and institutions acting as a secure information gateway on the blockchain.
All transactions on PLM (parallel masternodes) are encrypted with a auto-changed IP address.
The Luxgate will make available the communication between validated blockchains allowing advanced tasks and funcions. For example, bounding bitcoin and ethereum blockchain, somehow.

This is a work in progress concept that is expected to be ready for stress testing on late march (end of Q1 2018)

They also plan to put available a fully-web POS wallet where you'll be able to stake LUX without having to download their desktop client.

And even more exciting news coming in mid-february with a pre-mine burn, a new technical whitepaper and more marketing.

They also plan to be listed on more exchanges and release a mobile wallet still in Q1 2018.

transaction confirmation: 10 blocks
min. transaction fee: 0.0001 LUX

60% of rewards goes for staking and 40% to masternodes
Min stake age is 36h and there is no maximum PoS age.
