Similarities between Blockchain and DNA.

in #blockchain8 years ago (edited)

These days I has been interested in the brain and read the books about the brain.

I happen to think it was similar to the Blockchain of Bitcoin and the DNA of our body.

* The similarity of the two :

1) Cells of our body and wallet of Bitcoin

2) DNA and Blockchain.

3) the expressed proteins : addresses in the coin wallet.

1. Cells has a single DNA with information.

==> The wallet of Bitcoin has a single Blockchain with the information.

2.  The human body contains 15 trillion cells and the cells of body have the same DNA.

==> Bitcoin has a lots of wallet about s and the wallets have the same Blockchain.

3. For the cells to divide, it must first replicate its DNA.

==> For new wallet to create, it must first replicate its Blockchain.

4. Cells in a particular body , for example the heart or the skin, will express the specific proteins via the mRNA by recognizing the respective positions of body.

That is, the cells are expressed according to its location in the body.

==> Each wallets of bitcoin has his own address. And they can express the balance of each wallets.

5. The content of DNA is not be erased.

==> The content of Blockchain is not erased after six conformation in bitcoin.

6.The DNA has sometimes a mutation with low probability during replication. That is, the DNA of all the body is not the same DNA.

==> The Blockchain has sometimes multiple chains during forking.

* The difference of the two :

1. The record of the Blockchain is increased when the transfer is made. But the DNA of cells is not changed.

much more depth to go into on this one, but I think you may be onto something... ;-)

Thanks a lot.

What do yo think about my article?

Interesting comparison

I was having this same thought today. That blockchain technology encodes information a lot like DNA. I wonder how we can manipulate the different strands of blockchain to be more cohesive and evolve over time like DNA does for our bodies. Think of products that could code for different strands of the blockchain tk become more advanced and link up the I formation in a relevant useful manner.

If hardforks would become kind of daily happening, dying hardfork currencies would be the equivalent to an ending species evolution strain. Hard forks would be a kind of trial and error branch selection of the algorithm of evolution. This would give the continuing surviving branch a kind of passive feedback to be the most optimal solution. ..there would be no active feedback, needed to integrate in one main blockchain. Simply by an uncountable number of hard forks, so over trial and error, one blockchain brachn would turn out as the strongest..

So survival of the fittest. Sadly, in today's terms people tend to focus more on survival of the fastest not fittest. To me, adaptability is probably the strongest characteristic a species entity or idea can hold.

  • Miners are outer conditions, letting species, so DNA, so token survive or not
  • Token, so Blockchain is the DNA
  • cells (individuals) are token-communities
  • Dev teams are like uv radiation, changing the dna so algorithems of token
-> ..leading to survivial of the strongest dominant chain, so dna ..core algorithm of blockchain AND dna = reaching for dominancy ..survival of the strongest...
