Decentralized Autonomous Organization – Organizations on the Blockchain
If you're not already familiar with Blockchain itself, you're welcome to read my previous introduction into the topic: Blockchain, the next big thing?
This post is about a new kind of organization that emerges from the invention of the Blockchain and the growing ecosystem and economy around it. It's called Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO). If you're into Blockchain or cryptocurrencies you might have heard that term from "The DAO" which led to a hardfork of the Ethereum Blockchain. Dash is also a good example for a nicely functioning DAO.
