It is just a few hours to the long awaited biggest Africa Blockchain Conference happening in Kampala.
I am very excited to tell you that almost all is in order as we just wait for hours to kick start a generation of opportunity.

This is going to be the first biggest Blockchain Conference to be organised in Uganda and it will pave part for more of such great events in the near future.

I have been following this event keenly since I will also be in attendance.

If you have been keenly following me,you should have realised or felt my enthusiasm for this conference since I have been posting and updating about it for a month now.

We as Uganda are entering the golden era of blockchain technology and am glad i will be among the history makers in a few hours time from writing this post.

The theme of this conference is

Among the notable speakers to announce/confirm their presence at the conference is Mr. Changpeng Zhao CEO of Binance.If you reading this and you don't know what Binance is ...It's among the largest crypto exchanges in the world at the moment and it's not yet even 1 year old at the time of this writing.

There was a time back when Mr. Changpeng Zhao announced a partnership with some Ugandan startups as seen in this old tweet..this was the time I got to know about this conference.

It has to be remembered that the first country to implement blockchain technology in elections was an African country called Siera Leone.You can read more about that landmark achievement here on techcrunch.

The blockchain technology was developed by Leonardo Gammar of Agora and guess what...Leonardo Gammar has already confirmed his presence at this conference as he will be sharing with us more on that!
