ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE-A glimmer of Hope Rekindled by The Blockchain-#ProjectEffect.Ai
The concept of Artificial intelligence has been evolving for over six decades. Artificial intelligence is also known as machine intelligence, A machine is “termed “ intelligent if it can perceive its environment and take an action that maximizes its chances of successfully achieving the goal it was created for.
The major challenge with this branch of computer science is the availability of data to be fed into the machine to make it 99.9% reliable. These data gathered are used to train the machine using the machine learning algorithm for it to be able to function well.
The 21st century has been revolutionized by the blockchain which attracts millions of human-users, machines and thousands of merchants to create digital blocks.
Blocks are continuously growing a list of records which are linked and secured using cryptography.
These millions of users create secured blocks for different purposes, transactions, documentation, banking, medical records etc. these blocks are encrypted with a key only known to a user.
Effect Network powered by NEO is leveraging on the blockchain to launch a project of about 15.7 trillion dollars on the blockchain.
Why blockchain? Because blockchain is a decentralized platform which takes away power from a central source and delegates it to smaller “divisions” which creates room for flexibility.
The 15.7 trillion dollar project is huge and would need top notch data. Depending on the type of data for the Artificial intelligence feeding, it maybe tasking to collate the data by a few sets of individuals hence the demand for humans. Necessity is indeed the mother of invention!!!
Every human being has something to offer, everybody is a genius in his/her own little way.
I once read a post by @stellabelle, in her post, she was talking about data sources
@paulag: Her first posts explored how articles on Steemit trended, and she began to dig into the immense data of Planet Steem. Her posts made very little for weeks on end. Did she give up? No, she formed her own Business Intelligence group within Steemit. I just upvoted her post and the last look it was around $86. She's mining Steem with her mind and producing valuable insights with her Data skills. I rely on her posts because I hate doing data stuff, but I need her information. Her posts have a real, tangible value to me and many others. Her posts are unique and very useful. She's figured it out and was discovered.
If @stellabelle could rely on the quality data presented by @paulag, then imagine gathering data from millions of such people to feed to an AI machine! The database would be very rich.
Since Effect.Ai is leveraging on the blockchain which has a decentralized data store, the AI development work would be on a journey to a huge success considering the plans they stated in their blueprint.
THE FIRST PHASE.
The mechanical Turk aims at providing a decentralized work center for humans with great intelligence. This means that you can be in any region of the world and make your intellectual t contribution in exchange for EFX token and the data you generated would be collated from your “IP address”.
THE SECOND PHASE .
The smart Market is a virtual decentralized market where people could buy and sell AI and related services.
I imagine this phase as the “Coca-Cola market”. Whoever you are, where ever you live, whatever occupation you do, you would always contribute to the Coca-Cola market! Asa Griggs Candler made a great contribution to mankind before his death on 12th March 1929.
Humans are born daily as some die daily. Learning starts from the cradle and ends in the grave. Humans can contribute to AI before they take their exit.
THE THIRD PHASE.
This is THE POWER PHASE- where surplus power is pulled to a global supercomputer needed to run the advanced AI Algorithm. This is a very big dream that can be fulfilled in the nearest future.
Sophia is the first social robot activated on April 19, 2015, whose computer algorithm enables her to remember faces, sustain eye contact and to process speech and make a valid conversation.
Effect Network could build an advanced version of a similar robot with better qualities.
The social and economic impact that a decentralized mechanical Turk would create
Efficiency of labor- There would be a drive for education and re-education of the intellectual contributors. The drive for a re-education would stem from the token incentive that would be rewarded at the end of data processing.
Specialization – This will lead to more productive efforts of an individual on a given aspect of an AI task which would enhance quality data churned out.
Division of labor- This will help reduce the cost per unit of output and save quality time and training, it would lead to less fatigue.
It would create employment opportunities for the unemployed.
The bringing down of the cost of AI development would allow smaller investors to be able to sell their ideas or make financial investments that they are sure would yield good returns. It will foster a public-private partnership which would be a win-win for both parties at the end of the day.
Contributions to the Effect. AI are intellectual properties. This could be traded if one is willing. Decentralization helps the individual to profit from his intellectual property and makes the human make a valid contribution to the AI ecosystem.

I've heard about effect.ie and I would also love to hear what do you think about DBC (Deepbrain Chain) and Singularity. How those two look comparing to effect.ie in your opinion?
Im personally quite bullish on DBC (mostly because DBC is related to NEO) and I hope to hear what do you think about this coin.

One thing that I found missing in most articles about AI is lack of comparison between leaders of this industry in blockchain technology. DBC vs AGI vs effect.ie. Personally i would love to know how effect.ie can compete with the other two.

Just found time to look at DBC white paper and I must say I was a lil impressed with what they have in stock.
Effect. AI and DBC are leveraging on the blockchain for data supply, but to me, I think effect.ai looks promising because it will involve crowd participation which would help to pull a greater volume of data. On the other hand, didn't see that in the DBC white paper, rather they opted to provide a low-cost, private, flexible, safe, and
decentralized artificial intelligence computing platform to artificial intelligence
products. I think they are targeting the bigger companies that want to invest in affordable AI deals.
On a lighter note, I think AI looks very promising with all these great innovations involving the blockchain. The future already looks very bright.

Wow. I love your answer. Not many people bothet to actually share time to do some research and reply.
One huge reason why I believe in DBC is the fact, that they are backed up financially by NEO, they have already 6 years experience in AI field and have functioning AI operataring platform. Which gives them huge advantage. But the most important (in my opinion) is that I dont think China would ever allow any foreign investments control their AI market. So I think DBC do not need to worry about any competition within China. And that's a huge market.
