Tether releases 250 Million tokens
Tether today conducted a new issue of #USDT and issued 250 million tokens. As we expected, this happened after the publication of the #FSS report confirming the adequacy of funds on the company's accounts and caused the growth of Bitcoin and other #crypto-currencies that are traded in tandem with USDT.
The USDT's additional emission forced Bitcoin to overcome $ 6,300, confirming once again the rule that the Litecoin founder, Charlie Lee, deduced: the rate of the first #cryptocurrency is directly dependent on the USDT issue. In 2017, Tether released new tokens secured by fiat money to the market, each time with a noticeable weakening of the Bitcoin exchange rate.
