Everyone wants to be a part of something
It is a inherent part of human nature to want to find a group of people you just click with; to find your tribe, so to speak.
And in a place like Steemit, this can be an invaluable asset to growing your business and personal brand.
So what does a tribe mean?
A tribe is a group of people who are connected to each other by a certain idea or mindset, and they also have a leader.
Tribesmen always follow the same culture and have the same beliefs, they not only interact with your content, they help share it to others who it will be beneficial to and this helps grow your brand.
One of the greatest strenght that Apple has is that it has succeded in building a tribe around the company, people no longer see it as only a product to be bought and used , It has become a lifestyle.
One thing you have to know is that building tribes is a part of human nature and it has become much easier with the advent of the internet and social media.
Before the advent of the internet, people ususlly gathered to form tribes, but it was always location dependent, but thanks to the internet, it has become more easier to form new tribes and communicative without any form of location barrier.
There are a lot of things you can build a tribe around, you may build a tribe around a hobby an occupation or a religion. These tribes can be big or small as long as they have a central focus
And the greatest thing that can keep a tribe going is Commnication, there are various form of communication when it comes to tribal communication and they are all important.
Leader To Tribe
A tribe can have more than one leader, in my opinion everyone is leader, there are just different levels of leadership.
As a tribe leader it is up to you to challenge the status quo and give your tribe members a different perspective or perception towards your chosen topic, and this will be helpful if you create a culture for your tribesmen to follow.
Steve Jobs created a culture that revolved around thinking different and this challenged every member of the Apple tribe to perform at their best capacity.
You as a tribe leader must be able to communicate Your vision for the future in a clear way so that everyone understands, and it is also up to you to connect your tribesmen to each other, it can be as easy as creating an interaction section or giving someone who is doing something you want others to emulate a mention in your post.
Tribe To Leader
In some instances this might be more important than Leader to tribe communication.
Listening to your tribe is very important, because this is what fuels every other kinds of tribal communication.
You have to listen to how your tribesmen reply to your communication and provide them with the answers they need.
A good way of doing this is replying to every comment on your posts.
Listening to your tribe helps you to know things they are finding difficult to solve and helping them with the answers they need.
Tribe member to member
This is simply when members of your tribe interact with each other.
I have had times when I was not online and somebody needed an answer to a particular problem.
Sometimes when I log in i find out that another reader have given them a solution to their problem.
You may not be online at all times to attend to your tribe but if you have been teaching and communicating the right way, then other members of your tribe will always be there to help in your absence.
Tribe Members To Outsider
The best way of advertising a product or service is by word of mouth and it still beats other form of advertising till this day.
When you are very good at what you do then members of your tribe will not find it hard to recommend you to outsiders
This can help cement your reputation and esthablish you as a leader or a visionary in your niche
How Do You Start A Tribe
For you to start a tribe you don't need to have all the answers, just by presenting a unique idea you can kick start a movement.
And when starting a movement, you don't need to force others to join, you just need to offer people a better way of life or a better way of doing things
Just be Helpful.
Your attitude as a leader is more important than the number of followers you have or any level of authority you have been able to reach.
The number one thing you need to possess is passion, this quality is mandatory.
If you lack passion then you will not make progress and your tribesmen will look for another leader.
It is your passion that supplies the tribe with inspiration and energy to support your collective cause, and one thing about passion is that it cannot be faked, living a lie online is usually hard and eventually the truth will be uncovered.
Starting your tribe here on Steemit is as easy as providing content that improves people.
You just have to share your idea to the world and if it genuine and well thought out, it will create that bond you need to move forward.

Whoa is a nice idea but the problem in steemit is that one becomes discourage when his views are not appreciated. But i can see passion in your post thats the only thing that can keep one moving.
