Magiliws Great Blenderventures - 003 - Emitters and Gradients
Introduction
*Welcome to another self-improvement episode of:
"Magiliws Great Blenderventures"
In which even a simple gradient has it's purpose.
Progress
Today, at the 26th of June, Magiliw continued leisurely his studies about emitters and how to use them better than in last times episode.
While he was searching the internet 'F'or 'A'cademic 'P'urpose, he stumbled upon a video of the YouTuber PigArt, who is a great low poly artist, in which he works with gradients.
Of course Magiliw tried out some of his techniques and put them into practical use.
The results actually astonished Magiliw, because they actually look edible for the eyes.
To top it all, Magiliw tried to combine his unmatchable animating skills with the techniques, which he learned from Master PigArt.
As one can already witness, the loop isn't perfect, because Magiliws skill at creating good loops isn't too high yet.
Perhaps he could spend some skill points into creating better animations...
Out of character:
If you have watched PigArts video and compared his rendering to mine, you may have noticed that I didn't have my gradients too flat.
The reason for that is, because I wanted to see, how higher positioned gradients react to the emitters.
I'm quite satisfied with the results and will probably use emitters and gradients more often from now on, because it fits the low poly style perfectly.
