Bittrex Released A Statement On Disabling Users Account | Conclusion

Yesterday I had made a post about Bittrex Is Disabling Users Account Without Any Reason and this is a follow up to my previous post.

Now about 12 hours from now a Spoke's Person of Bittrex named as Ryan released a statement regarding disabling the accounts . Here's what they said in their statement

We would like to address recent reports regarding Bittrex account suspensions.

We occasionally conduct compliance reviews and are working vigilantly to protect our service and our users from harm. As part of a compliance review, we have temporarily suspended certain accounts pending the completion of the review. The total number of suspended, closed, or banned accounts is very limited: less than 0.1% of the total accounts on Bittrex. More than 99.9% of Bittrex accounts are unaffected.

Any reports that Bittrex miscalculated or misapplied its exchange fees, that there is a security problem with the exchange, that Bittrex lost any coins stored on users’ behalf, or that Bittrex is banning people trying to access Slack to discuss the status of their accounts are incorrect. We are committed to making Bittrex a strong, safe, and compliant exchange where people can securely participate in the digital currency economy. We ask for patience from our highly valued customers. As for us, we plan to “keep calm, and carry on.”

Now according to the statement Bittrex has banned 0.1% of the total account in their user base. I was expecting a rock solid reason here but they just said that it is temporary and that they'll be reviewing the accounts so that their users don't face any problem. Here Bittrex pointed "We occasionally conduct compliance reviews and are working vigilantly to protect our service and our users from harm" I don't what harm could an exchange posses besides our money being stolen. But if it has something to do with what I said in my yesterday's post that there must me something related to politics and then I would say they have taken the right step.

Coming to the accusations made on them that they are/were banning people from their slack channel on asking the status of their account and also that there is a security problem and that the coins have been stolen for the accounts of the users so to this Bittrex has simlpy said that all these accusations are false though they didn't prove any proof supporting their statements but for now lets assume they aren't.

Now their final words “keep calm, and carry on.” this sentence puts me in an uncertainty if my account was banned I would have been very confused on what I should do next.

I also came to know that bitfenix has also disabled many accounts.
