DWeb Is Live: Web 3.0 Is Starting
Yesterday I mentioned that DWeb was going to be live today. It was just put up.
The website is dwebs.io.
This is a distributed internet. It is a completely free project not designed to make any money. Instead, it is Jared Rice's answer to the harassment he received at the hands of the government.
The browser is also ready for download.
Ultimately, what is built upon this by members of the BENCH team will tie into the Bitshares DEX.
This is a major step in the development of the "new"internet. Internet 2.0 ended up being a centralized siloed system with a few companies running the entire thing and the governments of the world providing surveillance every step of the way. With this mesh system, there is no way to take it down or remove anything on there from the internet. This is an incredible step forward.
The recent attacks on Alex Jones' and InfoWars suggests how highly vulnerable anyone is to the powers that are. When YouTube, Facebook, Apple, and Spotify can all attack someone in a 24 hour period, this just shows that all are vulnerable. With DWeb, this will not be the case.
As I said in my post about the Jones' incident, it matters none if you like or hate him, it is the fact that an individual is being censored by private entities that are handing over a ton of data to the governments. This cozy relationship should be worrisome to all.
I hope everyone is able to tune into CryptoConnie Tuesday at 10 EDT tonight. There should be valuable information provided.
