On the contrary it should cause much less confusion as it looks more like a regular exchange. Other assets like TRADE.BTC , CASH.BTC etc will still have their prefix.
What about bitBTC --> doesn't it usually have the 'bit' hidden, potentially causing confusion between the EBA & MPA?
No it doesn't, in the GUI it's always displayed as bitUSD.
