Hollywood HEROs

BitShares will be providing all the blockchain special effects for Startup Hollywood, a "shark tank" event for investors, entrepreneurs and internet marketers. The event takes place May 26-28 at the Los Angeles Center Studios - where Terminator 3 and many other movies you know were filmed.

Blockchains do special effects? They sure do. Especially when the event needs digital currency transactions to happen in real time for an immersive Virtual Reality / Augmented Reality game and a shark-tank competition where the audience gets to invest as part of the scoring mechanism. Who else you gonna call?

(Ok, ok, we plan to mention our friends Steemit, Peerplays, and EOS when we are talking about real time blockchains too. But Bitshares will be the star of the show - the Whole Three Days.)

I agree that the documentary is far too long, yet I watched it all in one sitting and found it fascinating and well worth the time. (Besides, it says nice things about BitShares and Steemit.) If you don't watch the whole thing, don't complain about information asymmetry.
