Hertz ABA Whitepaper is now available for the public!
I've been working on the Hertz whitepaper the last fortnight, and mustered up the courage to make the latest version available to the public. It was intended for the Graphene Devcon in May however I'm not sure they're accepting paper submissions nor am I sure if I can even attend the Devcon in person.
If you've not heard of Hertz yet, it's an Algorithm Based Asset (ABA - aka an MPA w/ an algo) available on the BTS DEX which is pegged to the USD, backed by BTS and has its price feed modified to oscillate using a sine wave with 14% amplitude and a 28 day period resulting in a settlement price range of $0.86 to $1.14 depending on the current cycle position.

First off - The Hertz logo looks great in those colors. Glad you went with that. What happens if the USD drops below a certain point. Would the Hertz depegg it self form useless paper ?
If USD was to collapse in value itself, like USD hyperinflation? It would still be pegged to the USD. Switching reference asset after activation won't be possible without serious coordination.
It'd be easier to launch a new MPA with a different reference asset. Given the MIT open source nature of the price feed scripts, new ABA derivatives are possible and encouraged.

I am really unaware of this, because nowadays so many projects are introducing rapidly in the market, can you please derive it in few words more means what actually it is because it sounds interesting. Thanks for sharing and wishing you an great day. 🙂

It's worth trying to understand the whitepaper, but the simple explanation is that it's a cryptocurrency that's pegged to USD and modified to predictably increase & decrease in value using a sine wave algorithm.

I have not heart of H, however it sounds quite interesting. My question is how many ICOs is one going to engage in? Well good luck with it though.
None. There's no need for an ICO.
