Our Letter to the 'Bitfilm of the Week' Winner

We wrote this email today to our Bitfilm of the Week winner Gaëlle Denis and her agents:

Dear Gaëlle,

congratulations! 

Your short film City Paradise has been awarded Bitfilm of the Week by the Steemit community with a prize money of 68.13 Steem Dollars (roughly equivalent to US Dollars).

We selected it for our competition because it won an award at our Bitfilm Festival 2005.

On Steemit.com we show one film per day and let the community vote for it. The film with the highest number of votes wins the award. The prize money is generated by the Steem system. Here is more information about it.

There are two ways how we can send you the money:

1. You create an account on Steemit.com and send us your account name (something like @gaelledenis)

2. You send us a Bitcoin address (something like 1Q8vBomFbWSdKXDbvt9BgixaBzN48D3chF)

We do not use banks or government monopoly money.

In the long run we do not only want to show films from our archive but also new films. So if you want to submit more films, please use this form:
