I called it a scam 2 days before they ran with the money in a video on youtube. I thougth that Bitconnect would last longer so yes I gave wrong advise just before they ran, I said that it was a scam all the time, but I thought that it would last longer and that it would be a good investment to buy the BCC coin, short term. I was wrong about that, they ran faster then I predicted, I was of course right about that it was a scam.

It will be the last time that I advice people to make short term profit on a known scam, I have apologized for this in a separate video and explained my mistakes. Please just remember that for the longest time, I was calling it a scam, which is proven in above link, to an 6 months old post.
