Are Shitconnect Poster Boys @craig-grant and @trevonjb Playing Us? (Fake Hacks - 180BTC???)

in #bitconnect6 years ago

Last night Trevon James' YouTube account was hacked supposedly and I noticed the name on his channel changed to a bunch of letters and numbers.   Then there was a video called "Shows Over"  that was posted by the supposed hacker showing the Bitcoin leaving Trevon and Craig's wallets.   Here was the video.

During that time I guess Trevon was live streaming on Instagram and was having trouble with his Exodus wallet and then suddenly he was showing 397 Bitcoin in his wallet.   I posted the video for that.   Go to 10:06 to see where that part happened.

The idea that these guys would get hacked is plausible for sure.   They aren't very technical and keep showing off their wallets and bit thirsty hackers are probably after them constantly.   That all being said a lot of things don't add up with their hacks and Tanner J Fox's supposed $200,000 hack he posted on YouTube.   Things don't add up and the way these guys act about it doesn't make sense either.   They kind of brush it off and act like they just have to move on.   Also @craig-grant posted a video last night basically saying that he didn't feel sorry for Trevon and then sort of eluded in a weird way to the fact that hacks create a lot of attention....etc.

Most things are hackable to some extent and I wouldn't expect these guys to be running the most secure setups but something tells me that they are faking this whole thing along with a couple other Shitconnect promoters.

I won't be surprised if they don't all get together and launched their own hair brain scam pretty soon.

What do you guys think?  Is this their tax evasion scam or are they cooking up some other 6th grade level plan?

LOL. This scheme is not a good way to whip out the victim card! If that guy was really hacked for that amount of BTC, he would not be making a video about it.

Unless he wants something to point back to if the IRS comes knocking on his door. Then they will say they got all those coins stolen. It is very weird.

I wouldn't be surprised they were hack for real. I tend to think it's real.

Yeah I'm sort of back and forth on it. When I filmed the video last night of the "shows over" video I really started thinking it probably did happen but then the more I started thinking about it and looking at the Instagram live video I recorded then I started thinking that they were playing games and putting all the Bitcoin in one wallet to show 397 Bitcoin in one wallet and get everyone talking which it has done that for sure.

Plus the way these guys are acting doesn't make sense. They are acting like they have moved on mentally....etc. A person could potentially live off of 111 Bitcoin for the rest of their life if they play it right and they are just brushing it off....etc.

So I'm still leaning toward that it is a hoax. It certainly gets a lot of attention.

Hahaha, I actually just watched his video and that was a lot more plausible explanation. Here was my response to the video. Also I have seen in a couple different places people have said that in Shitconnect it shows everyone's phone numbers in the downline. So if the person knew the phone number they could figure out what phone carrier they were on and if they knew the person's e-mail address they could start figuring out more information. Searching public records for birthdays, mothers maiden names....etc. And to be honest with that much money at stake they might have even paid a person that looked kind of like Trevon or Craig, made a fake ID that looked real. And sent them into the Verizon store saying they water damaged their phone or something. Since the Verizon store agent wouldn't be able to authenticate into the account by sending the current device a text with a temporary pin and then the person posing as Trevon or Craig could then say they don't remember there pin which is believable because most people don't remember there pin. Then it would come down to ID verification and as long as they had some ID that had their name on it they would be into the account. They could then have a Verizon phone they wanted to activate on the network and either use the existing SIM card or the in store agent would just give them a new SIM card which are free. At that point they would just activate the phone on the network and Trevon or Craig's phone would be kicked off the network like DJ described and they could take down accounts one by one like he said. The only question mark would be how they got into the Exodus wallets. The only explanation I can come up with is that they saved a backup and stored it on their Google drives thinking that if they lost their laptop they would still have access to the wallet backup.

Then once the hackers had the backup they could restore an Exodus wallet from the backup and make that video taunting Trevon and Craig. So it is possible for sure. Here is what I said in the comments on the YouTube video.

"It's a little bit of a stretch but possible for sure. A lot of times at the cell phone carrier call centers the turnover rate is extremely bad so they are always in constant training mode. If a person gives a good enough story about a phone being water damaged or something else and not remembering the pin some carrier reps are able to go around it without authenticating. With Verizon you can actually authenticate in with the account number. So someone could dumpster dive or dig around in a mail box and get a bill potentially as well so then they would have the account number. Then like you say if the person is using the same phones and same e-mail to get into everything the person is able to take over accounts one by one. They can fall like dominoes. I'm still not totally convinced the Trevon and Craig Grants hacks weren't staged / a hoax to get attention or evade taxes. I don't know but I have the "Shows Over video" and the "Instagram Live" video on my channel. "

Thanks for sharing! Don't have time to watch these now, but cheers for posting so I can take a look when I get chance.

It's either:
a) a marketing stunt
b) starting to make excuses that they've lost a ton of cash when the Bitconnect pyramid collapses (which looks to be soon according to the UK regulator); or.....
c) they've been hacked because, as you say, they keep showing off their accounts. (sure, we've all though "hey if I pause this video and check that email address he keeps showing.....")

Either way, I hope no one has been harmed in the making of these public announcements...

Maybe we will see what happens in a couple of days. I think they will catch a lot of flack for the stunt and people could lose even more trust in them.

Tax evasion sounds about right!

LOL, Yeah that might very well be their master plan.

Lol, if you Report Tax Frauds you can get 15-30% of what the IRS collects. I openly admit I don't care for people who pump Ponzi Schemes. I hope they did lose their coins but I will laugh even more if one of their subscribers reports them to the IRS and gets a payday out of it. These clowns basically won the lottery and now they want to evade taxes. Gotta admit its pretty funny.

It is really tough to say 100% on it but I'm sure there probably will be a bunch of pissed off people when Shit connect implodes.

Also I have a new video up about it talking about the security at the wireless carriers. It is a bit long but sort of interesting because it makes us all think about the ways we have things set up.

Being part of Shitconnect really exposed these guys because I saw multiple people saying that the contact information is shown for the people in your downline and even if a few people actually put in their phone number and then they were hacked then the hackers could get the phone numbers for the others and start figuring out what carrier they were with and then work on pretending to be them.....etc

So I'm not really sure. Still 50/50 on whether they really got hacked etc

haha omg I dunno... if it was then why not claim that they lost all of their bitcoins and pay 0 taxes... I think they are naive to a certain degree...with all that money they ought of have made at least 2 secret accounts and talk about whatever on the others like youtube n stuff... hell..if they continue getting hacked...then you might be right then

Yeah it is all very strange at this point.

These guys are such clowns! I cant sit through more than a couple minutes of their whack videos without despairing for humanity!

It wouldn't surprise me either way if they were a) hacked due to terrible op-sec or b) faking it for exposure or some other bizarre reason

Yeah I'm the same way. We were all rolling our eyes at them and then suddenly they joined Shitconnect and it lasted long enough for them to get rich and then maybe lose the riches.....

But yeah I'm 50/50 on it as well. I actually just recorded a screencast that isn't up yet talking about the security measures of how a hacker could have got another phone activated onto their mobile carrier account to get past the 2FA stuff. It still isn't uploaded yet though.
