Just recently I have been hearing a lot of chatter about BitcoinTalk.org and how much rewards bitcoin fanatics like myself have been making, and I decided to help put in my 2 cents
Hands down, my best source for information is the BitcoinTalk forums.
If you’re invested in Bitcoin and not involved in bitcointalk... Your doing it all wrong!
Now is the time to start becoming involved. This site provides discussion forums for bitcoin and alt coins which is key to deciding which coins took a manipulated dive or which ones are simply dying. More importantly, this is the location where you can find bitcoin bounty rewards.
Bounties are the way for new alt coins to get marketing and promoting within the bitcoin ecosystem, and those who participate in these bounties are rewarded for there efforts.
BitcoinTalk Bounties possess the ability to make a broke man wealthy
Free Tokens!
When a new coin is announced and is in the crowdfunding phase, the development team will set aside a portion of the coin supply for bounties.
These are free coins that are distributed to 'Any and All' users that participate!
-Nearly every new coin that comes into the altcoin ecosystem has had a bounty program on BCT.
Here is an example of a recently completed bounty program from the SOMN crowdfund:
Signature Bounties
Bitcointalk allows your profile to advertise your favorite coin as a signature and as an avatar. More importantly, these signatures have become a tradition to the ICO. Almost every major altcoin you see today, ran a signature campaign on Bitcointalk.org. These signatures, as you can clearly see from the above SONM example, are typically the most rewarding of the bounties with a majority % allocation.
The signatures and the rewards are based upon user rank on the forum. Just like Steemit has numbers, BitcoinTalk has Ranking and similarly the higher you are in ranking the more tokens you will receive

Blogging bounties
This portion should be read by all serious users of the Steemit Platform as it relates to YOU
Many coins containing a reputable development team will provide multiple avenues to promote the coin and reach the most amount of users.
One of the best ways to become involved for any new user to BitcoinTalk platform is the blogging bounties!
There are not many writers/ bloggers out there, with that said, if you blog for a new coin during the bounty campaign you will receive a significant piece of the reward pool.
If you are a blogger on Steemit, then why not shoot for the highest rewards by making a blog promoting a future coin.
Become an altcoin shill for a chance at increasing your rewards and becoming involved in new technologies.
Even if you’re not the best writer, remember that content is subjective and therefore if you follow the bounty requirement (typically including links) then you will receive a stake of the allocated coins for the bounty.
Social Media Bounties
Are you on Facebook? Are you on Twitter?
Can you like something?
Can you tweet?
Why are you not getting rewarded for that!?
In SONM: 160,000 tokens were allocated for people who did just that...
(I got a piece of that pie, why didn't you?)
Promote Steemit
Even if you don't like the idea of being a bounty hunter, by submitting a blog for a bounty program, you will cause BitcoinTalk users to inadvertently stumble onto Steemit just to read your blog.
This in itself, can promote Steemit by attracting new users to the site if they weren’t aware Steemit existed.
I personally feel that it you already blog for Steemit, then you should also be involved in blogging campaigns for BitcoinTalk. This provides exposure for promoting new coins along with exposure for Steemit – win/win.
You cannot loose!
Even if your posting here doesn’t receive a reward on Steemit, you will at least receive a reward through the bounty.

yes you should. Its not worth it to invest right now IMO. Theres just too many ways to get free tokens nowadays
Will check out Bitcointalk, I imagine those free coins and bounties could be lucrative if you are an early adopter of a quality coin.

That's a great idea to leverage Bitcointalk.org with Steemit and vice versa! Both can make you money so it makes sense to promote one while you're on the other. I definitely go to bitcointalk to get information on any coin I want to research, but I haven't used it to advertise or get bounties (yet!).
Thats pretty much the purpose of this post. Many people don't know about BCT and are missing out on the good times we are having.

I am on BCT but just read, I have never been an active user, I will look into it. Just looked I have to make a lot of posts to be able to use the signature file.
