How to retrieve your Bitcoin Cash from blockchain.info in 10 easy steps.
It's not intuitive, but it's not hard! Let's get those BCC now!
If you had bitcoins in your wallet at the time of the fork, you gonna have bitcoincash also.
If you want to be sure you have BCC to cash out, check your wallet address on the blockchain explorer: http://blockdozer.com/insight/ -> Its the same address from your blockchain.info wallet
Tutorial
1- Download Electrum Cash Wallet: https://www.electroncash.org/
a) Execute it
b) Create a new wallet: File -> New/Restore
c) Give it a name and click next
d) Choose standard wallet
e) Choose "use public or private keys"
HOLD for now...
2- Login on your wallet at blockchain.info
3- Transfer your funds to another wallet.
-> this is for security reasons as retrieving the BCC involves bringing your private key to the surface.
4- Go to configuration -> addresses
5-Find the address you had bitcoins at time of fork
6-More options -> private key
it will popup a security message, continue
7-THIS STEP IS IMPORTANT - check if your private key starts with 5 (meaning the key is WIF) or starts with K or L (meaning its WIF Compressed)
8 -IF YOUR PRIVATE KEY STARTS WITH 5 great!
Grab the private key and paste it on the Electrum Cash Wallet you left open.
But IF YOUR PRIVATE KEY STARTS WITH K or L
You need to get it decompressed. In order to get it, the easy way is:
a) access https://bitaddress.org/
b) click on WALLET DETAILS (last item on the green banner)
c) paste your private key
d) click on details
e) scroll down and find the Private Key WIF that starts with the 5
f) copy it and paste on the Electron Wallet you left prepared.
9- Set a Password
10- Click next and wait couple of seconds
Tadaa! hope you can see your total amount of BCC cash there.
Now you can use it as BCC or if you wanna convert it to Bitcoin, you can send it to your preferred exchange (I used BITTREX and worked) and trade it on the BCC/BTC pair.

After sending all my bitcoins to another wallet and getting the BCC should I not use the wallet after as it has the private key now public?
Safer just to make a new wallet and if so any wallets you would recommend?
Im about to send all my coins to bittrex for the fork but after I will need anew wallet to use if the blockchain.info wallet is compromised by me making the private key public to bet the BCC.
Sorry if im asking stupid questions ans this isall new to me.
