Bitcoin Candy

Bitcoin Candy will be a hard fork from Bitcoin Cash. The project webpage promises research. The fork should happen tomorrow and I predict there should be a run-up for users who want to buy into Bitcoin Cash so they can get the free "Candy". The Bitcoin Candy website is written in Chinese. They will be using Equihash and a block-size two minutes. The Bitcoin Candy will be issued at 1000 to 1 Bitcoin Cash. Now, there a massive pre-mine of 210 million Bitcoin Candy. There is a promise of replay protection.

Worth While?

On the website is no talk about who the developers are. The market that wanted a larger block bitcoin are the people who kept the bitcoin cash. It really remains to be seen whether the development team of Candy are worth 210,000 Bitcoin Cash coins. The market could benefit from instead of a linear blockchain, a branching out tree of a blockchain wallet. Whether this chain really survives or not, it will come out strong and then drop as a stone, just like the majority of ICOs and all bitcoin "forks". Now the question is whether there will be eventual support after the fall.

I have no crystal ball, but from what I have seen, there was a large community within the Bitcoin community that wanted larger blocks for Bitcoin. They got it! It's called Bitcoin Cash. There have been Bitcoin Gold, Bitcoin God, Bitcoin Diamond, BitcoinScrypt, BitcoinZ, and BitcoinRed forks and. Each time the market cap of the marjority chain gets a clear majority. Right now, a Bitcoin Cash coin trades at about 15% of a BTC. Bitcoin Gold coin trades at 10% of a bitcoin cash coin. The rest of the Bitcoin fork coins do not get even $3 per unit. You could make a killing if you buy ten dollars each of these bitcoin forks at $3 each if they go up to say $300 because they have features lacking in BTC. This is not financial advice, because I cannot see into the future. Evaluate the team, the technology and the time it has been alive. Candy could die before it is even launched or it might be worth thousands. Right now, there is too little information out there for me to decide.

Apart from being on exchanges, I am seeing a strong market acceptance of Bitcoin Cash. So far it is the only Bitcoin fork that really has the market acceptance. Market acceptance is very important for a coin to get value, and I see that with Bitcoin Cash but not Candy.

I visited the site yesterday . Bitcoin Candy... can it get even more rudiculous??

I don't know, maybe you could start one as a joke and put a cute animal on it and it might even be successful.
cough cough dogecoin

I am more heavily weighted in bch than btc.

It was bold thinking like that, that got the early adopters of bitcoin rich to begin with. Good on you.

Well I got the heads up with $77 tx fees and waiting a week for tx... And first got more heavily weighted in eth, too early 3 times before... woohoo!

That's about what my VPS upgrade cost for the rest of the year was going to be if I pay by credit card. If I pay by Bitcoin, my VPS service provider would charge $99. Then with Doge, Litecoin even more up to nearly double at $150. So, I am looking for a new VPS. I don't see this monkey business at other VPSes.

Wow
Thats new coin????
