Super Easy Crypto Dashboard in Google Sheets

Can you answer me this: where are all your coins? How many wallets do you use and what coins are on which wallet? Or maybe they are on an exchange or on a mining-pool website or on a couple of those... Maybe you have some hardware- and paper wallets too and maybe you have two versions of the same wallet or mining-pool on different machines. And how much is all of it currently worth?

If you are anything like me, these questions become increasingly harder to answer as time goes by. They're everywhere! And prices fluctuate so much in crypto space that it's nearly impossible to know what a typical cryptocurrency portfolio's fiat value is at any given moment. This is why I made the CryptoDash spreadsheet.

- You need a Google account to use this spreadsheet. Clicking the link will ask you if you want to make a copy of the CryptoDash spreadsheet on your own Google Drive. If you're not logged in, it will ask you to log in first.

I wanted a nice and easy way to just keep track of all my coins, wallets and mining-pools. One place where I can quickly see where all my coins are and how much each wallet, exchange or mining-pool holds currently. Then I saw YouTube videos by Crypto Rewards and Crypto Gnar  about making a Google Spreadsheet for crypto portfolios and using the Coinmarketcap API. I'd like to thank them both for inspiring me to make CryptoDash for myself. I had to develop my own spreadsheet because, while the stuf from Crypto Rewards and Crypto Gnar was educational, their sheets just weren't easy enough in everyday usage; to much stuff to type in and to many places where errors can be made.

Here's the first video in Crypto Rewards' series for all those interested to learn more.

I like my stuff simple and easy on the eyes:-) So I started to teach myself Google Sheets by watching a whole bunch more educational videos and started to make my own crypto dashboard. Now, two weeks of sleepless nights later, it's finished. And while it was not easy for me to make, I'm glad to report that it's very easy to use! So easy, in fact , that I decided to share it here with you all.

If you are at all familiar with Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel or any other spreadsheet software, you're good to go immediately after reading the Quick Start instructions:

"Just enter your wallets, exchanges, mining-pools and all other crypto-repositories you use on the "WALLETS" sheet / tab and specify the amount of every coin you have there. If you have multiple coins on the same wallet or exchange, you must enter that wallet or exchange multiple times, once for every coin you have there."

If you're completely new to spreadsheet software, please read the simple instructions contained in the spreadsheet and you'll be up and running within minutes.

Keep in mind that I'm new to all of this: got to know about Bitcoin a year ago, this is just my second post on Steemit and I just learned about Google Sheets two weeks ago. Therefore I'm very curious to see if anyone is even interested in this, and what the reactions will be. I'd love to know if you have any suggestions or comments about the spreadsheet or this post: I'm willing to learn.

Thank you.
