Bitoin Has Dipped After The Split But Not By Much
Happy hardfork day everyone,
The split has happened and it is looking like it is a success. There has been a dip in bitcoin but it is a small one and according to this article it is looking like it will not go anywhere. And keep in mind bitcoin has also been going up over the last couple of days so this can be a correction. As for bitcoin cash it went up 32%. However I do not think a lot of people are not trading it yet so it still might be too soon to see what is going to happen with its price.
Now the question is how long before we start to see crazy bitcoin cash trading and what will happen to the price of bitcoin. It will either go up as people get rid of bitcoin cash or go down as people think bitcoin cash has a chance to hold. Then, hopefully it should be smooth sailing from here as this drama is behind us. I still think this is the year bitcoin goes mainstream and once the dust settles big things are going to happen. But maybe that is just me. I also think these dips in bitcoin which recover so quickly show there is strong support for the coin and we will see if it happens this time in the next few days.

I was actually hoping that bitcoin cash would function much like index futures providing a bit more stability and investor confidence in bitcoin.
It can happen, I just think there are a lot of people with a coin they think has no value that will sell it. But when that is done who knows
