This week the entire cryptocurrency market capitalization surpassed US$300Bn for the first time in history. Bitcoin’s significant rise in value, alongside the wide variety of other cryptocurrencies having similar price spikes continue to reveal that digital assets are trending across the world in a big way.

🗞 Karpeles Coin: Mt. Gox Founder’s ICO Plans Cause Community Outrage
From 2011 to 2013, the now-defunct cryptocurrency exchange Mt. Gox, had lost 850,000 Bitcoins it had stored on behalf of its clients and traders. At today’s Bitcoin price, the stolen Bitcoins amount to a staggering $8.25 bln.
In a blog post, Karpeles completely dismissed the creditors by expressing his intentions to pay out the minimum amount possible and keeping the majority of the 202,000 Bitcoins.

It's the takeaway for the recipients of a distress call (the villagers in the story): Even if someone pulled your leg in the past about a supposed clear and present danger, there is still the possibility he might be dead serious this time. So if you write him off because of his track record, there's a chance your sheep will be devoured.

🗞 Regulation Round-Up: Kenya, Ghana and Algeria Fudding and Fighting Bitcoin
Governments across Africa are striking a firm tone regarding bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, with Algeria’s congress expected to ban all cryptocurrencies, and Kenya’s central bank warning against the risks of cryptocurrency, and an advisor to Ghana’s ministry of communications describing “fear of the unknown” as the principal barrier to greater adoption of virtual currencies. In other news, a Kenyan man has negotiated to pay the ‘goat portion’ of his dowry using bitcoin.

Yesterday in my publication, I was saying you that STEEM was testing the resistance line of the long term triangle :
We had a nice Break Out to reach the levels of $1.30.
We had after an immediate correction.
We are now back higher that the resistance line.
If we can stay UP, we should see soon a very nice increase coming on the STEEM !

I did grow a lot my bonding with a lot of different people, I also increase my knowledge about cryptos on a daily basis !
I did put a few hundreds $ but I didn't put any new money for at least 2 months. I just use my SBD gains to rent Steem Power to be more involved in the Steemit community.

Sucks, that many countries are trying to fight cryptocurrencies. Their support would enchance our development, but still, cryptos cannot be shut down
Great post buddy. Bitcoin to the moon is everyone's dream and hopefully it should be acheived sooner rather then later. Keep posting these daily updates. They are indeed motivating and full of news.
