🗞 Ongoing Verge Issues Spell Problems for Pornhub Partnership

Even though a lot of people are still shocked that Pornhub actually took the plunge on Verge, it seems that decision may come back to bite the company. Due to the ongoing attacks against the Verge network, Pornhub and its cohorts are at risk of seeing transactions reversed or spoofed. It is a very big problem and an example of why solid technology should always be the foundation of any payment method.

🗞 Bitcoin Gold Hit By 51 Percent And Double Spend Attacks, Millions Stolen

On May 18, 2018, the bitcoin gold network suffered what could be a multi-million-dollar loss from a 51 percent attack. During the attack, the perpetrator was able to steal 388,201 BTG, presently worth approximately 18.2 million dollars.

In a public post, Ed Iskra from the bitcoin gold (BTG) network announced, "An unknown party with access to very large amounts of hash power is trying to use '51 percent attacks' to perform 'double spend' attacks to steal money from Exchanges."

🗞 Markets Update: Bear Market Adds Cryptocurrency Trading Uncertainty

Cryptocurrency markets have had a rough week over the last seven days as many digital assets lost quite a bit of value that most coins had gained two weeks prior. Currently, markets are seemingly consolidating and have remained somewhat stable over the last 24-hours. At the moment Bitcoin Core (BTC) values have been hovering around $7,470-7,560 during the last few hours. Meanwhile, Bitcoin Cash (BCH) prices are steadily holding just above the $1K region at $1,038 per BCH at the time of publication.

🗞 South African Police Investigate Alleged Crypto Ponzi-Scheme Involving 28,000 Investors

“[Targeted members of the public are believed to have been] encouraged by BTC Global agents to invest with promises of 2% interest per day, 14% per week and ultimately 50% per month. Payments were allegedly made every Monday. Some of the investors got paid in terms of the agreement. However, the payments suddenly stopped.”

We can see clearly a drop in the volatility and the market has more and more difficulties to go lower. See all the little candles we have since the last hours. I don't think we will be able to go touch the support line in red before having a UP Break Out. The first objective will be to break the resistance line in orange but I think that in case of a UP break Out we should go quickly higher. Let's see if my prediction will be right ;-)
