🗞 South Korea Internet Giant Moves Deeper Into Crypto

What a week for the peninsular nation, 대한민국 Republic of Korea. Moon Jae-in’s administration appears to have brokered a potential meeting between heads of state to avoid nuclear holocaust, and in more practical terms local media is widely reporting regional internet giant Kakao will deepen its involvement with cryptocurrency in South Korea by incorporating crypto into its various, hugely popular, platforms.

🗞 PBoC Governor: Digital Currency Could Replace Cash In China

The People's Bank of China is currently developing a digital currency, known as the DCEP, or Digital Currency (for) Electronic Payment, according to a report from the Beijing Youth Daily.

🗞 Silicon Valley VCs Help Crypto Hedge Fund Reach Quarter Billion Target

With bitcoin hovering at around only $9,000 and the entire cryptocurrency market at similar low levels, short term speculators are acting as if a great calamity is upon us. Long term investors on the other hand are just entering the ecosystem now and building up a portfolio of assets that offer growth opportunities uncorrelated to stocks and commodities.

🗞 Binance Offers $250,000 Bounty For Arrest of Hackers

The Binance cryptocurrency exchange is offering a $250,000 equivalent bounty on the arrest of the hackers involved in the March 7th incident, Binance stated in an announcement March 11.

“To ensure a safe crypto community, we can’t simply play defense. We need to actively prevent any instances of hacking before they occur, as well as follow through after-the-fact. Even though the hacking attempt against Binance on March 7th was not successful, it was clear it was a large-scale, organized effort. This needs to be addressed.”

🗞 Coincheck Starts Crypto Hack Refunds and Allows Limited Trading

Japanese exchange Coincheck is today starting to reimburse victims who lost funds in a hack that saw around $530 million stolen from the platform in January.

Here is the chart of yesterday where we were trying to break the support line in yellow :

Here is the current chart :

The support line in yellow created a bounce and we are now going in direction of the little resistance line in bleue. This resistance line is not a powerfull one and I don't expect that it will stop us for a long time. The support line in orange is much more important for the future trend so let's see what will happen when we will reach these levels.
