🗞 ‘No Regulation Needed’ – Moscow Stock Exchange Plans to Trade Bitcoin Futures

The largest stock exchange in Russia, Moscow Exchange, has been building an infrastructure for the trading of cryptocurrencies. However, recently the central bank has reportedly “banned” the exchange from launching bitcoin futures until the country’s cryptocurrency regulatory framework has been implemented. 🗞 Amazon Web Services Won’t Launch Blockchain-based Services, Says CEO Andy Jassy

Despite previous rumors, Blockchain-based services will not be offered by Amazon Web Services (AWS) anytime soon.

CEO Andy Jassy made the announcement at the AWS annual re:Invent conference held in Las Vegas in late November. Jassy presented his views on Blockchain technology, claiming there are limited use cases of Blockchain “beyond the distributed ledger.” He also reiterated the company’s policy not to “build technology because we think it is cool.”

Cardano (ADA) is the newest coin to take its place in the coveted top 10 cryptocurrency market caps, currently sitting at number nine with a market cap north of three billion USD. ADA found itself firmly in the top 10 after a hugely impressive week, in which it grew from a low of 338 sats to a high of 1690, and is currently trading at just under 1200 sats, for a growth of over 350% in Bitcoin price. Alongside Bitcoin’s 30% price increase in the past week, the dollar increase for ADA during the time frame was over 450%.

🗞 Indonesian Media Urge Bitcoiners to Cash In Ahead of Crypto Ban

“Bank Indonesia will enact a regulation that confirms the ban on using virtual currency,” announced Pikiran Rakyat. The Republic of Indonesia’s central bank appears to be pushing forward on their often-threatened cryptocurrency ban, which is reported to include “parties that facilitate digital currency transactions.” In turn, at least one media outlet is encouraging holders to “cash in” as a way of avoiding the crackdown.
