Want to know why crypto is not mooning?

I know everyone who is into crypto trading would like to believe that crypto is THE next big thing. I too constantly deal with HODL and FOMO emotions.
So many "exciting" projects are being built on blockchain technology!
So many millionaires are being made by crypto!
My friends think am so hi tech as I trade in crypto!

So if its THE future, why are we in a market where the "WOW" projects just last November / December of 2017 have lost up to 90% of their value?

Today, crypto tokens are mainly used by us traders - for buying and selling between us all. Think about it - we are just taking money from each other!

The only ones really earning money are: the crypto project owners who are able to convince folks that their fantaboulously gibberish white paper is worth millions.
Want to make millions? Launch an "ICO" by combining the following words:

[[Your Project]] is the [[decentralized/distributed/next generation]] [[normal working business app today]] that is powered by [[artificial intelligence / internet of things / smart contracts]] on the blockchain in order to enhance [[privacy / identity / transaction speed / savings on transactions]] and will disrupt today's multi-million [[industry]] worldwide. It will be powered by the [[your token name]] token which will be made available in a limited quantity of [[number of tokens]].

Example:
JELLYCHAIN is the NEXT GENERATION CANDY DISTRIBUTION PLATFORM that is powered by ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE on the blockchain in order to enhance SAVINGS ON TRANSACTIONS and will disrupt today's multi-million SNACKS industry worldwide. It will be powered by the JEL token which will be made available in a limited quantity of 1 billion tokens.

Then cite your team - include smart sounding names, with Dr. [[xxxx]] and Prof [[xxxx]] from so-and-so university. Include an advisor team - the more you have, the less chances that people will actually try to find out who they are. Then have a partners section, showing logos of publications that have mentioned your project, no matter how incidental. You don't have to include a link to the article anyway.

Sorry to rant, but ask yourself a simple question - when was the last time you used a crypto token or app that is NOT a trading app like Bittrex or Binance. When was the last time you paid someone with crypto? Chances are, you will be hard pressed to find an answer (except maybe the use of STEEMIT).

When will crypto moon? When there are actually useful applications in real world that use crypto.
