Good to know - Bitcoin news, trends and facts

Hey,

I decided to write lists of various news and facts about Bitcoins. It's easier to understand and help to see the current bitcoin trends in bigger picture, not only reading long articles but simply by remembering these news and facts.

These lists have been collected from different news and articles, but I decided to compress them into easy-to-read form. If there's something to fix, please let me know in comments section!

So lets start!

• Even small news on television can influence the price value on Bitcoins.

• Global problems affect the worlds money supplys and this is why many investors are interested in Bitcoin, future looks promising!

• Bitcoin rate correlates negatively to global problems. If there's a crisis in some country, they might buy bitcoins. Good example of this was in Venezuela, when people saw that BTC was easy to use as their safe haven. Another case was during Brexit.

• People invest because it's new kind of investment opportunity.

• Bitcoin news have been huge in Japan and Korea, it's gotten way more famous lately. (Even Bitflyer did a big advertisements on TV!)

• There might come a point when Bitcoin will be divided into a new coin called "Bitmain" coin. That coin seems like it's not very valuable to invest, at least it's been written about and talked about.

• There's about 300 000 Bitcoin transactions per day currently.

• In Litecoin there's some technologies that have not been implemented to Bitcoins yet, it works as a nice test platform.

• New update is coming for Bitcoin at some point and all the current wallets need to be updated to new ones.

• All around the globe there's some things going on about BTC so it's still growing.

• 500 worlds supercomputers count just 1% of that speed what the world wide Bitcoin miner machines and mining rigs are combined. Calculation speed is the worlds biggest.

• Bitcoin started as a opensource system and it grew up to be something much bigger.

• No one cannot do any custom switches to blockchain, the system is there and all the data is inside of it. Bitcoin is secure system by itself.
  
  

So whats the outcome? It's still a stable, the most known and the first cryptocoin. There's update coming also, so it all looks promising as a investment! Ethereum is awesome coin too, but it's quite much in a bubble right now, who knows how it's gonna be!
