It was the ignorance and apathy of our recent ancestors that brought the world to where it is today. They had an excuse for that, however. We do not. We, for the time being, have an open internet with the resources available to educate ourselves better. Perhaps then our descendants needn't wake up in a world driven by greed, vanity and unnecessary competition, and be forced to question whether we did enough to try and stop its progression.
This is very useful information that will likely become very relevant in the near future. I'd advise you watch it, and have your family, friends and followers watch it too. We will never be able to envision the tool that will be able to protect us all, if we don't understand the weapons they are using against us.

Sounds good... and "controversial," as in, i'm guessing you support BCH? (In my mind, that would be the "controversial" move, atm; but I'm pretty new to all this, so, I really have no solid idea...) As much as I may "dislike" certain people's appearance / demeanor, so to speak (i.e., Ver), that *doesn't" mean I don't think that enterprise will be successful... Which is precisely what I am predicting with BCH. I think there will be a rush to buy into it, out of BTC.

I was thinking about this very thing last night, I came up with not-net, would you like to join in? I am going to make a server, and connect it via the cheapest form of wireless I can find, in Spain a lot of people had the internet this way. If my server is run by only a few trusted people, and we keep extending the range via people wanting to connect, then do we not create the second internet? if I have missed something let me know, if you want to help let me know, in fact if you want to also start this where you are feel free to do so.
I don't know shit about networking- yet. But, I am advancing several projects this year, and will be needing to surround myself with those who know what I do not. I've been saying this is what will happen since I found out about Bitcoin.
Of course the banks will take it over - this is their world. They operate in this space and have the knowledge and understanding (and money) to buy whatever they want, whoever they want, whenever they want.
