My First Genesis Mining Update
Hello steemit community, today I want to update on my progress with Genesis mining. For all reading this for the first I purchase 2.5 Terahash (TH) of Bitcoin mining on Thursday, August 10, 2017.
I buy the contract with my credit card, so my earnings are withheld by Genesis for thirty (30) days. Please take this into consideration if purchasing with a credit card.

hi, i have genesis mining contract too. I only use the basic 0.2Th for bitcoin and it does what it says it will do, but I have found that it is much better for me to mine LTC because of the payout limits. i get daily payments of large numbers of satoshi equal to what I would get if I selected bitcoin mining. The good thing about genesis mining on the bitcoin contract is that your one off payment is a lifetime contract. I paid using bitcoin which is why I get daily payouts.

This is an interesting article as I am going through something similar. I also purchased a contract recently and waiting the 30 (plus 2) days for an actual payout. Very recently, I wrote an article about it. I talk about uncertainty of the mining contract, how I will determine if the mining gives me a "profit"compared to just buying the coin and holding. I upvoted and will follow you and see your updates over time.
