Bitcoin could blow up thanks to South Korea and the new exchange Upbit and kakao
South Korean company Dunamu has announced that they will launch a Crypto Currency exchange called "Upbit" next month. Dunamu is affiliated with Kakao Corp, the company behind Kakao Talk,South Koreas biggest smartphone app with over 200 million users worldwide.

The amazing thing is that Kakao unlike Facebook and Instagram, has peoples social security number. So people will be able to lend money and trade Crypto Currencies within seconds.
It's so funny watching Joseph talk about this today. Out running today thought about what are the biggest issues with Crypto Currencies? What are peoples arguments against it, and what keeps your neighbour from buying some.
It's too hard. It requires SOME technical savyness. You have to be able to concentrate and read for longer than 30 seconds which is actually a problem for a lot of people. You have to take a picture of your passport etc, and it is just too much hassle for most people. And it feels "illegal" and "dangerous" for normies to do stuff like that. However..if it was as easy as a click of a button..

I've never heard of this Kakao app, but If China doesn't take the lead in the crypto-space, Korea and Japan will be more than happy to become the biggest blockchain mining, trading and innovation hubs in Asia.
Which is why I think the whole China banning bitcoin fiasco was a huge farce from the get-go. I doubt the Chinese are stupid enough to let their neighbors gain a big lead in such a rapidly-growing, global industry.
