Determining Satoshi Nakamoto new net worth?steemCreated with Sketch.

in #bitcoin7 years ago

We know Satoshi Nakamoto in theory could be one of the richest persons in the world. It will never be known if he/she will ever claim it. But it is still fun to calculate how much he is worth including all the folks that have happened. All calculations based on 11/4/2017
Here all the forks/bitcoin distributions.
Satoshi Nakamoto owns about one million bitcoin.
One bitcoin as of 11/4/2017 is $7343.62
One million bitcoin times $7343.62 is equal to $7343620000 in USD.

Due to the hardfork in which Bitcoin Cash was made, creating one Bitcoin Cash for every bitcoin in circulation, he also owns roughly one million Bitcoin Cash, worth about as of 11/4/2017 One bitcoin cash= $638.50
S0 1,000,000 times $638.50= 638,500,000 US dollars

Due to the hardfork/airdrop in which Bitcoin Gold was made, creating one Bitcoin Gold for every bitcoin in circulation, he also owns roughly one million Bitcoin Gold, worth about as of 11/4/2017 One bitcoin Gold(futures)=
1 000 000 times 142.78 US dollars = 142,780,000 US dollars.

Clams=
If you held a balance on May 12th 2014 in a BTC, LTC, or DOGE address then you most likely already have CLAMcoin waiting to be dug up.
Each qualifying BTC, LTC and DOGE address was given 4.60545574 CLAMS free regardless of the address's balance
We can assume that Satoshi Nakamoto owned more than one address his funds were spread... I say about 5 wallets based on data i read.
Which means about 23.0272787 clams.
As of 11/4/2017 One Clams=$4.09
$4.09 times 23.0272787= $94.1815699 US dollars , I am estimating it to $94.18

The Next Airdrop is Byteball
Every full moon, you’ll get free bytes and blackbytes for all the Bitcoins over which you can prove ownership – fractions can count as well.
Each bitcoin will earn you 0.0625 bytes and 0.132 blackbytes.
Let's just say Satoshi Nakamoto participated in only one round before all are gone so this amount is debatable but its fun to calculate :)
one million times 0.0625= 62,500 bytes
one million times 0.132= 132,000 blackbytes
As of 11/4/2017 one byte= $191.97
62500 times $191.97= $11,998,125 US dollars

If 1 byte on linked Byteball address gives you 0.21111 blackbytes i well use that logic to calculate that 0.21111 blackbytes= 1 byte-20 decay for it not easy trade blackbytes
in 1 blackbytes= 4.52 bytes
132,000 blackbytes /4.52 bytes= 29203.5 bytes
29203.5 times $191.97= 5,606,195.9 US dollars
$5,606,195.9-$1,121,239.18= $4,484,956.72 US dollars
So by using byteball $11,998,125 +$4,484,956.72= $16,483,081.7 US dollars

So in total of anytime claim(aka excluding byteball)=
$7,343,620,000+$638,500,000+$142,780,000+$94.18= $8,124,900,094.18

Including byteball if hypothetically Nakamoto did it before all claims were done. Aka since there still time left
$8,124,900,094.18+$16,483,081.7= 8.14138318 billion USD

That took alot of work to calculate comment any more airdrop/fork i have no idea about. Comment if i made math errors.

Very interesting

Interesting article! Tip!

I had never heard about CLAMS and Byteball (bytes, blackbytes & decay?) before. Are the Byteball airdrops still going on? I'll have to check about these.

Also, do you know if there is a way for a Bitcoin holder to get its hands on Bitcoin Gold yet?

Byteball airdrops have been temporarily stopped the last air drop was yesterday :) but bookmark the page and/or follow me i'll announce the next airdrop. https://byteball.org/
here the place you can view how claim byteball= https://99bitcoins.com/how-to-use-your-bitcoin-wallet-to-get-free-coins/
on that page you will find how to claim clams too. You just need a wallet from 2014 which had bitcoin[does not have to have bitcoin now :)] you can claim clams anytime :)

Thanks for all the info! I've sure bookmarked the links and started following you. I think I bought my first BTC in 2016, so no CLAMS for me. But Byteball, the game might be on! :-)

try claiming bitcore :)

with bitcore and bitcoin gold officially coming i will be making under how much nakamoto worth :)

I was not even aware of the name Bitcore, thanks again! Another very interesting opportunity! And if the numbers are correct, the potential of the Bitcore network is impressive!

I am looking forward to your new evaluation of Satoshi Nakamoto's worth!

And in one way people buying bitcoin for these free coins and the fact many people will just be selling those coin for btc will give the new coins a fake (fait) value and actually increasing bitcoin prices by the fork coin to bitcoin trade. Confusing but true

Makes perfect sense.

yep bitcoin going to gain from an art cifal value ask the fork coins
