Bitcoin’s price lost $3 000 after a new record
On December 20 Bitcoin's price fell to $16,900. It’s almost 15% lower in comparison with the absolute record on December 17 - $20,089.
It’s the sharpest drop in the value of the cryptocurrency since the opening of Bitcoin futures trading on the Chicago Stock Exchange on December 10.
Meanwhile, the head of the marketing department of the Hong Kong exchange Gatecoin Thomas Glucksmann called the situation “a short-term correction” and predicted Bitcoin’s recovery by the end of the week.
Today the most popular cryptocurrency exchange in the US Coinbase announced that its users can now buy or sell the Bitcoin Cash.
After this news the BCH price rose by more than 30% and made an absolute record - $3,380.
