Life after death?
What lies before us after death? We all have our different theories on life after death, whether it actually exists or not or whether whatever happens can actually be called life. However, this is more on the spiritual side and depends on the belief of a person or the lack of belief thereof. Science is taking a different approach to this, through technology, scientists are trying to extend our lives in a way that will make death a mere state of transformation. There have been movies that try and depict what scientists are working on. However, these projects need human experiments which raises a lot of ethical issues among the extended population.

Cloning is a famous technology that has worked in the past but with animals. It has excelled in terms of physical appearance but things are a bit shaky when it comes to maintaining the personality of the donor. Cloning has not yet been tested on humans and from animal tests, we cannot be sure whether it will work because of our different biological make up.

Transfer of consciousness from our bodies to others that may not necessarily be humans is another tech that has been teased a lot even in TV shows such as Black Mirror. Having tech that could make this happen would virtually make us eternal as long as there is a compatible host.

We cannot be sure whether we will ever achieve this level of technology but we may also want to preserve our bodies such that when they are made available we may be among the first to experience their work.

The records kept of how your funds are spent or how your biomaterial will be preserved will be open to anyone who may need to confirm the terms of the contract.

In case these technologies are not achieved, your closest relative will be given control of your trust funds according to the make up of the contract.
