Summary Of Today's News:

Poland funds anti crypto videos. Bitgrail vs. Nano continues. A Shark Tank host thinks crypto is here to stay. Infamous Trevon James just won't quit.

1. Polish Central Bank Secretly Funds Anti-Crypto Youtube Propaganda Videos

Key Highlights:

  • "The Central Bank of Poland has admitted to funding anti-cryptocurrency campaigns on social media"

  • "The social media campaign against crypto was carried out by Central Bank of Poland in conjunction with Polish Youtube partner network Gamellon, Google Ireland Limited, and Facebook Ireland Limited, allocating about 91,000 zloty (around $27,000) for producing anti-crypto content"

Crypto Phil's Take:

There's no stopping the cryptocurrency train. It's already left the station. Even if it's a attempting to show cryptocurrency in a negative way, it's still bringing attention to the technology. There's saying: There's no such thing as bad publicity.

2. BitGrail Vs. Nano: Who Is Responsible For the $150 Million Theft?

Source: https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitgrail-vs-nano-who-is-responsible-for-the-150-million-theft

Key Highlights:

  • "Firano also asserted that transactions were somehow removed and reinserted in a later date. But, in any public Blockchain, it is not possible to remove data stored in past blocks unless the entire Blockchain is compromised and attacked."

  • "Ultimately, as an independent company, BitGrail might be held responsible for the theft of the funds of its customers if it is found that the cause of the theft of the 15 million XRBs on the platform is not due to an issue of the Nano Blockchain protocol."

Crypto Phil's Take:

The owner of BitGrail is clearly a clown. The guy is trying to pass off the blame for his exchange's issues to NANO. But his evidence for this doesn't hold up in the slightest.

3. Shark Tank’s Herjavec Thinks Bitcoin And Blockchain Are ‘Here To Stay’

Source: https://cointelegraph.com/news/shark-tanks-herjavec-thinks-bitcoin-and-blockchain-are-here-to-stay

Key Highlights:

  • "According to Shark Tank’s Robert Herjavec, Bitcoin is “here to stay” in the long term, cryptocurrency will definitely be regulated, and investors should both get in and get out now"

  • "In answer to a question about the future of Blockchain, Herjavic thinks that Blockchain shows a lot of promise because of its 'inherent security of a transaction.' "

Crypto Phil's Take:

The entrepreneurs and business moguls hosted on Shark Tank clearly know what they're doing. It would probably be prudent to at the very least hear what this guy has to say on the topic of cryptocurrencies. Overall, it sounds fairly bullish to me.

4. Trevon James, Infamous BitConnect Fraudster, Caught Trying Again On Steemit

Key Highlights:

  • "Good try @trevonjb - found ya! I'll be watching your votes now - get fucked scammer!"

Crypto Phil's Take:

This guy just doesn't know when to quit! After the infamous BitConnect scam, Trevon James' Steemit account had any posts flagged into oblivion, removing all potential earnings. Apparently, he's back at it again with new alternate accounts. I'm glad to see some people are actively monitoring his activity.

Ya I heard about the anti-crypto ads... That is crazy why Poland would ever do that.

Yea I really don't get it. But honestly, I just consider it free advertising for Crypto.

It's going to be a case of the Streisand Effect, for sure.

Absolutely. Although it’s not like $27,000 in advertising can really do much either way. Not when there’s literally hundreds of billions in Crypto.
