지난 글을 통해서 가상화폐에 대한 미국의 제재가 심상치 않다는 사실을 알렸습니다. 만약 정부가 가상화폐를 전력으로 제재하고자 한다면 어떤 방법들이 존재할까요?

기술적 방법

가장 효율적인 방법은 거래소를 제압하는 것입니다. 이미 가상화폐의 범죄 이용 등을 이유로 많은 국가에서 거래소에 대한 접촉을 시도하고 있습니다. 더 나아가서 중국과 같이 외환 유출을 이유로 가상화폐 출금을 막거나, 미국처럼 다른 나라 거래소 이용을 막는 방법 역시 가능하겠죠. 어떻게 보면 가장 효율적이고 즉시 실행 가능한 방법들입니다. 자본주의 국가에서 개인의 재산권 침해 문제로 이 방법 역시 한계가 있으리라 생각했지만, 최근 미국의 행동을 보면 오산이었던 것 같습니다.

제3의 방법

적은 자본을 갖고 효율적으로 대응하는 방법입니다. 현재 가상화폐 시장의 성장세는 블록체인 기술의 미래 가치를 알아보는 투자와 투기 자본이 쏠린 결과물입니다. 이 새로운 시장은 정확한 가치 측정이 지극히 힘들고, 그날그날 이슈에 따라서 시장의 움직임이 정해집니다.
이런 가상화폐 시장의 특성을 이용해서 정부의 예산을 일부분 투자하면 이 시장 내의 강력한 파워 플레이어를 탄생시킬 수 있습니다. 그리고 모든 일에 훼방을 놓는 거죠. 악재는 끊이지 않을 테고, 지친 투자자들은 투자를 포기할 것입니다. 자본 유입이 끊긴 가상화폐 시장은 자연스럽게 도태되지 않을까요? 가장 무섭고 효과적인 방법이라고 생각합니다.

But recent US behavior shows that my judgment was miscalculation.

Third Way

It is a way to efficiently respond with little capital. The growth of the cryptocurrency market is the result of investing in the future value of the block chain technology. This new market is extremely difficult to measure valuation, and the market flows according to the issue that day.
Using these characteristics of the cryptocurrency market, investing a part of the government budget can create a powerful power player in this market. And the power player puts a blame on everything. The bad news will never end, and exhausted traders will give up investment. Would the cryptocurrency market without capital inflows go away naturally? I think it is the most scary and effective way.

The attitude of each government to the cryptocurrency market depends on the interests of the country. Someone is benevolent, and someone is hostile. I have presented some countermeasures by someone who is hostile to cryptocurrency.
